ok. my blog is untouched for 10days. waaa. i see in my calendar that the last time i updated was last last saturday after the stmc. quick update for this long gap.

wednesday 4th April. i went for some vjc humanities quiz. joel from church who is from vs was going to. so when we met there. we swapped badges for that day so i was walking around like some barker guy endorsing vs. anyway the quiz is GAY-ly hard. the mcqs i guessed a substantial amount correctly out of 40. but the open ended short ans questions. i anyhow whack la. only knew 3 and got those right lol. some crap i wrote "who composed the sound track to Star Wars?"--- "MozartXD" and "who was the other fuhrer during hitler's reign?"--- "Franklin D Roosevelt" LOL. well in the end all i got was a cert of participation. feels cheap la the cert, they are BLANK. no name no school. just their vjc logo, details of comp, people signing. but no mention of the school or name of the person that participated. like hello???? where's the sincerity. maris stella won in the end, beating ri, sji and hci. woots. noob school pawn 3 instituitions for the finals HAHAHHA.

friday 6th April. good friday. it went pretty well for me, considering that i didnt manage to get much studying done. had a night service in church but before that went to grab a bite with keith, jem and nimrod. went macs thn da bao for my youth leader some fried rice. i ate mcflurry and fries. but thats is super fattening i realised. macs put the nutritional value of food on their trays, which i think they are trying to scare people away. mcflurry has a bloody 570 calories in it. wth. who knew so little can be so much? even a big mac has less calories! but who cares la. once in awhile?

yesterday. i went for add maths supplementary. can absorb so much better thn in class. maybe cause im destructive/distractive in class lol. anyway an hour sitting of the supp class. and quite get the chapter that mrs lam tried teach to the class for 1 week? lol. and cause the gay school didnt want my class which is the trip. science class to miss periods. i couldnt go support the waterpolo at their finals! sorry wira and aloy! anyway they beat acs i 7-5. woohoo. barker champions for the cup lol. rj somehow went their as well. shi hua was there she told me. see even smart schools whose teams are not even in the game go there to support. and we who have polo people in our class CANT go. all cuz our periods end late. sucks to be too smart sometimes.

today i stayed in school till 8 30. like what the hell. walked through the clock tower was pretty darn freaky. had to plan the cca camp- so much logistics and shit. ah well, had free pizza. ms li treat us to oishi pizza. yay. anyway i have 4 freaking chinese compres to do my tomms and 1 chinese letter writing. peh is gonna have my head la. im still considering if i should do...

wheeee. still recovering from my highness yesterday. cuz yesterday there was a straits times media club talk. not that i always enjoy this kind of thing. but, yesterday was different, we were interviewing megan zheng. 14yearsold from fairfield methodist, she the homerun girl. hahhaa, wa grown up alrdy look different. looks ALOT nicer. and has this bubbly/shy personality about her. very interesting.

i took pictures with her and i got her autograph, in my zuo wen bu! hahhaa. wonder what peh will say if he sees it la. too bad i didnt get her msn or anything. haha. shahrena said "he who hesitates is lost"... "i'm lost".

so my dumb post got deleted. and only now do i have the time to fill back what i had written (in shortform though).

firstly, sounds incredibly bimbo, but i got EYEBAGS. lol. all that sleep deprivation has finally taken a toll on my skin. damn, how do this bags come under ur eye. looks freaking retarded, but i dont really care la. HAHA. just curious how it gets there.

and yea a clarification. people with THE weird handwriting usually come from neighbourhood schools. not neighbour hood school student write weirdly. they mean two different things. cause i had at least 5 people tekan-ing me about it. anyway, acs barker is a neighbourhood school, as our principal 'kindly' reminded us today.

and i left my lit file in the bus. 1 and a half worth years of notes, in bus 66 and sent all the way to bedok. alex's mum works near there and is supposed to help me get it. hopefully he keeps his promise.

and erma gave me a BIG mention in her blog so im kind enough to do the same. hahha thanks for the chats and oh yea. i sound so terribly GAY in ur post. sounds like im describing a guy but IM NOT AH. im not genderly challenged thank you.

now for today, i went to queensway shopping centre with jarron alex and king. wa, so many stuffs la. wish i had the money to buy stuff but nope, not so rich. click here to donate to the help-mervyn-pay-for-stuff fund. alex you bad boy, lighter some more... playing or for real. dont waste your life away.

when we were there saw many people in the rv uniform. waa, it looks weird. nurses! male and female nurses. if you are from there dont get offended, ur uniform isnt the only weird one. barker shirts have slits in the pockets, chij has squarish pinafores, and of course, how can we forget our green polka dotted friends.

so im gonna save for a bag and shoes. i hardly shop. so when i do, im entitled to spend a little more. i mean i do shop but i never really buy anything haha. tomorrow's the scrabble friendly. thats all the information i have about it. i know its at my school but, who's the opponent and what time? i dont know. wish me luck!

today i went to church in the morning and had cell after that. well im gonna be trained to be a youth leader. woohoo. excited and everything but im not holy or anything. last night chatted with erma about her school stuff. and theory is, neighbourhood schools has a higher % of prettier girls but practically alL 0f tHe pE0pLe wH0 wRiTe lIke dIs c0mE fR0m tHeRe t00. i think that if girls wrote like that, fine hate the handwriting, okay with the person. but if guys wrote like that, OMFG. i hate him then. wtf la, its so disgusting to write like that, its hard to type AND hard to read. i swear, i will kill any of my friends who write like that.

oh and yea i just remembered. why is it that people have the idea that all acs boys like clubbing and drinking etc. at some point in JC people will enjoy this kind of stuff to a certain extent. im tired of explaining to people that not all are like that. LOL. barcardi for the win XD

oh ya and smoking-- IS DISGUSTING. if its one thing i wont do it will be smoking. it poisons u all the way to ur heart. but dont get me wrong. hate the smoking love the smoker still. u thinking of trying, DONT. teeth turns yellow. fingernails become dirty. gum turns black. and oh ya, lung cancer and heart attack. not to mention a huge hole in you pocket. 11 dollars 20 sticks. and further more, it doesnt make u as high as drinking. lol. and the negative effects of smoking is so many times more than drinking.

and once again i am here at my blog attempting to place some of the more interesting things of my life onto virtual space. and what you ask is my inspiration to start again? well after reading one of my friend's blog, ahem, JOEL, i feel extremely compelled to say something. but first a quick update.

1. im sec 4 already and the MYEs are in 5 weeks. *gulp*

2. i just finished 2 CIP projects. one at Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital and Jurong Medical Centre. JMC visit was just a tour for cip hour but our group decided to wash ambulance for KWS visit. every group had to do something. after that we present the whole thing to ther class. and my group had the highest marks. WHEEEEEEEE. but graded for o lvls? NO. what a waste of effort. oh well here are couple of pics from the thing (i have no idea how to put in directly into posts so go to the htmls)

3. i've become a pool, basketball and dance music addict. (PS liking dance music does not make u a clubber-- in case there are some hardcore believers)

4. and i may be dropping physics. triple science is for freaks. soooo difficult omg

5 . i had a haircut. gone are the days of mogu XD

6. oh and the in07 rocks as hard as 06. everythings different la so cant compare. and made many great friends. from so many schools. bukit batok, corral, north vista, cedar.

7. i swear im gonna blog properly. i hate starting things and thn giving up even though that happens so often lol

now, onto what my friend said. he said that singapore does not need disloyal ingrates. meaning those who study overseas and thn stay there to work there. From my point of view, singapore NEEDS these disloyal ingrates. without this people where would be.

firstly, u mentioned of how people would go overseas to pursue their lesser qualifications as compared to education in singapore. i have to say that yes, singapore is indeed place where education is of the highest quality. BUT that is simply a generalisation. for secondary schools, yes education is good. BUT for specialised fields, overseas schools offer much better educational opportunities. and again, who says that going overseas would lead to one aquiring a lesser qualification?

many people have not even heard of the insignificant red dot called Singapore. Even though a certificate from Europe may not be as high standards as that of one from Singapore, it is a fact that saying u have a certificate from Europe will bring about more recognition by employers all over the world and even in Singapore. That is why u see many foreign expatriates taking over the jobs of people with singapore certificates once had.

you call people who study overseas and never come back a bunch of disloyal ingrates. BUT, i put forth to you that these people are indeed donig the nation proud. by aquiring a paper qualification that is from another country the person is than able to work overseas more easily. thus, they are able to show just what singaporeans are made of. by making it overseas, many will see just how capable singaporeans are and in the long run improve the impression of Singapore on people or even show people that this insignificant red dot is after all quite significant.

the world was made to satisfy men's need not men's greed. this was a phrase by uncle ghandi (is that how you spell it?) yes, the education quality here in singapore is higher BUT what are your needs? so what if studying in singapore will help you prove u are more smart or more capable then others. if u cant handle the heat or pressure then why stay? Go. You say that Singapore is full of talented people, then let some of these local talents, who have not discovered it yet because of their inability to cope with the educational system, break into foreign markets and show others what Singapore is about.

As the world expands, and advances greatly in research and technology. many agree that the future goal for the world which we all work together for it globalisation. the term globalisation refers to increasing global connectivity, integration and interdependence in the economic, social, technological, cultural, political, and ecological spheres. this is taken from wikipedia. now if singapore wants to be recognise as playing a part in this extensive goal set by economists all over the world. one main way is to export our foreign talents to other countries besides just resources. And what resources can we even speak of? seawater? i dont think so. in the end it is our people that we depend on for our future, and by seeing these disloyal ingrates go overseas and do their thing, we are able to do our part for globalisation. as our ss tb says, people: our most precious resource.

and so for all the above reasons, all i can say (but in a less sarcastic way), is for these disloyal ingrates to go overseas! let them go! so what if they are not contributing directly to our economy, they are actually in the real front lines by liberating people about the idea that Singapore is the hub for stressed out people who dont produce much. in fact, through these disloyal ingrates we can show the world what Singapore is all about!

ok im finally gonna update to serve my loyal blog readers. which is about 3 people as you can see from my humble and pathetic tagboard. ok, as i now sweep the dust off this blog i shall tell u about my recent adventures overseas. pictures to come later.

1st is the thailand mission trip. a week there has clearly been real fun. as u will see in the pictures later. their real cute and have names that sound hokkien. obviously some of my youth group people have fallen in love with some of them lol. just the sound of their names can drive them insane haha jkjk. generally the children there are polite and very contented. even though they dont have parents and only have a small box of belongings they are still very happy and can run around without a care in the world. their joy seems to shine forth through the pictures.

more recently, i went to genting. it was cold and fun. freak big la. pasir ris one like smaller thn a rats ass compared to genting one. rode on a proper roller coaster and it felt good. best ride must have been the one where i dropped 20 storys lol. i had so much fun there and the nights there were cold but peaceful and rewarding. i'll try getting pics for this one.

so even more recently, i have started to talk more on msn. opening up to people outside my usual clique. making more new friends through my current ones. must get to know more people and all. found some cool people who think they are anti but are totally cool so i am talking to them now.

yesterday, i got a new bed and wardrobe. all matching and rearranged my entire room so everythings looks new now. to complete the change im gonna buy some curtains, lights, bedsheet and table stuff and decor to make my room look like a IKEA show room. haha. i have my dream room in my head. hopefully IKEA has stuff like that to materialise my dream room. anyways again i will try to get a pic of my new room after all the new stuff's been thrown in, but no promises!

today, was the prize giving for the straits times newspaper competition. the 24 hour challenge where we were suppose to put a newspaper together. we only got merit =(. not even 3rd. dang. we're in the 4th to 8th bracket and that sucks. really disappointing compared to a 1st last year. well anyway i guess cause we were unprepared and all but we indeed tried our best. at least RI didnt get 1st (haha). so this year, we won $500 + another award $300 for good design. last year we got $5k. anyway $100 is still something. team's thinking of giving $300 to the club and we split the rest. will tell the outcome soon.

well, i definitely want to keep updating and will tell myself not to be lazy. thats my part. your part is to keep visiting and to revive my lil ol' tagboard ;) no chance to slack off here haha. ok its late and im waiting for stace call keith sms and luke msn. fun no? haha. nights all! ok. the day im 15. sounds good. lol. hoping more stuff will come my way this year. i missed an st internship this year. *sighs* but yea. its ok. i must pull myself together and serve IN like i've never done before. but anyway, at least without the st job, i probably will be looking for one with some church people. apparently they are looking too but i dont wany to appear and be extra. just going with the flow. and this morning, jane came over to my house lol. practising some dance with me sister. and she gave me like wang wang and POCKY for my birthday. tyVVm *drools* anyway just to clarify something, this is not going to be a super cheem blog, or some freaking emo thing or anything liky tt. just for me record daily happenings and me feelings. this disclaimer is for people who expect a blog to me more than a blog. lol. and keith is now the 2nd to see. both huiqi and my sis are running for 3rd now. lol im bored. maple's having a patch till 1 30.
